Hey Mike Enjoyed the video, which Size did you end up going with ? I am torn between the 13 and the 11. I had the 12.9 but returned it because it was too heavy to use in tablet mode. Hoping the new design is light enough to use it that way. I had the 11 but missed the real estate of the larger iPad when docked on the keyboard. Thanks

Returned my iPad 11 M4 within hours after comparing the sound quality with the 2018 iPad Pro. Speakers were terrible in comparison.

Hi! Does the Combo Touch for the iPad Pro 12.9-inch work with the 13-inch iPad Air? Think the Combo Touch for the 13-inch is not available in my region yet.

I got mine for $110 and for that price, it was a good price. I can’t imagine paying $250 for an accessory to a $350 device.

I didn't know that the keyboard on the Combo Touch was able to disconnect from the back panel. Damn. Actually when I bought my iPad Air a couple years ago I went with a Speck Folio case and then I bought the Logitech MX Keys Mini as a keyboard solution. It works for me. I just never cared for having a keyboard case full time. If I do upgrade to another iPad down the road I might look at the Combo Touch again. Thank you for your thorough review. Subscribed!

Personally, I wouldn’t bother with the keyboard cases. If you need a keyboard on the go, the on screen keyboard is fine. And you can get much better Bluetooth keyboards for much less money. The Apple Pencil with USB is fine for most people. Unless you are likely to draw professionally on it.

Folio touch This is one of the most uncomfortable keyboards and cases. Heavy, sharp edges when it lies on your feet, when you hold it vertically or horizontally the grip is uncomfortable because you have to hold the keyboard buttons, bulky because the case is thick when you fold it and that's also why it's hard to hold. Why don't you guys even talk about such things just testing it in one mode, typing and when it is lying on the desk?

I still feel very disappointed - They said they will tell us at WWDC why we need this wonderful M4 processor and all we got was just features they applying to the iphone....So what does that tell you? COPY AND PASTE "hopefully they wont notice we took what they were working on for the iphones and now give it to the ipad users and they will be extatic cos ipad os is getting a upgrade finally" LIKE REALLY??? Who cares about a Calculator and a that should have been in there since 2016 but it was overlooked people have been complaining for how long and only now available on 2024?? I say again really?? They release a ipad os update beta( beta we understand things are wonky and will be fixed) surely since the launch of the m4 a whole month ago you want to tell me they couldnt get software engineers for a month to work on a update to ensure that it rolls out and everything works the way it should be i speculate again cos its copy and paste from iphone..... So what is actually happening? Look a few months back at how revenue and sales numbers have dropped for the ipad line becos they werent interested in developing the ipad to newer heights.......So what did they do ??? COPY AND PASTE....They took the processors that was supposed to be for macbooks and mini pcs and now placed them in the ipads to make a wow effect & blow people out the water building suspense and curiousity - WHY? to try get sales numbers up " we will tell them there is huge stuff coming in wwdc but first purchase the ipad pro we cant tell you right now but promise when its wwdc ull know why we gave you a m4 ( people obv thought this is the year 2024 finally we getting what we asked for.... NOPE SADLY NOT MORE LIES!! ) People went crazy pre-ordered with hope wwdc will give new ipad os and reveal what the m4 is used for .... SADLY NOPE AGAIN - They didnt deliver .....silly updates of ios 18 to ipad ......and sadly again WE CANT UTILIZE M4 so why bring it out if we cant use it??? Yes surely in future it will finally come to use but WHY NOT RATHER PUSH A FEW $100k into development fix problems give a new look and let us utlize all the power and make the launch of the m4 really wow instead of leading on users to spend money they dont have misleading them out their hard earned money?? After my GCSEs I’m looking to buy an iPad Pro, and I’m not sure between getting the 13 inch or 11 inch, if I were to get the 11 inch I was wondering if it is worth also getting a monitor so I could use an external keyboard and mouse with the monitor and iPad while at home at my desk, but then I could just use the iPad when I’m at school for example. What do you think? Is there any point also getting a monitor, and should I go 11 inch or 13 inch?

I have an iPad 11 Pro 2nd generation with 5G and it's working wonderfully. I'm debating getting the iPad Mini 6 with 5G. 5G in tablets are awesome as I mostly use it on trips for GPS, browsing the net, videos and music and of course FB, LOL. I also have a couple of Samsung tabs with 5G (S8+/S9FE) and use them depending on my mood. The best thing is that I can interchangeably use a physical SIM card between all of them. I do admit I don't use the full potential of these tabs but I know it's there when I need it. Your evaluation covers the whole shebang. Keep up the good work!

Any thoughts on the heat conductivity/dissipation of the new M4 iPad Pro Logitech Combo Cases? With the new materials of the iPad Pro M4 Combo cases, which seem to have decreased the weight compared to prior Combo Touch cases, I was also hoping that Logitech made improvements to the thermal performance for the new M4 iPad Pros.

As someone who has used the Logitech combo touch for three different iPads and now is using the Magic Keyboard on the M4 iPad, here is my suggestion if you’re going to have the iPad “docked” and never just holding the iPad itself then get the magic keyboard, if you’re going to walk around with the iPad by itself and don’t need the keyboard for some portion of time then the combo touch. Taking the iPad off the Magic Keyboard and walking around with just the iPad feels like holding a new iPhone without a case.

What about ESR

I do not recommend buying the Samsung ViewFinity S9 product, as it is one of the worst products produced by Samsung. This model cannot be run on a personal computer, except for the latest version of the laptop that accepts running such a Viewfinity S9a model. I purchased and have tried to get support from the Middle East agent in Dubai, but I cannot find support. This is stupid technology because it does not connect with a desktop computer.

So you concluded that the 13” iPad is a great upgrade, but the 10th gen and 11” Air are too close to call? Interesting, no other reviewer has said this, but it makes sense. Great observation.

Did anyone begin to notice resting your palms on the keyboard while using it on your lap causes it to slightly bend (bottom portion) impacting the track pad response? Need to basically avoid resting my palms when using on an uneven surface. Was this the case with the old version?

Great comparison. Glad the old one works on the new iPad Air 11". I was able to find the older version on sale on Amazon (and Best Buy) for $130 US. I much prefer the older material as I had the previous iPad Pro 12.9 version and the denim type material shows no signs of use/fingerprints/wear. Still looks new. The new design looks like it uses the same material as Apple's own keyboard, which do not age well (show lots of signs of wear).
